Performing the most important job in the company, our clearance assistants are responsible for supporting the clearance team in maintaining site presentation, clearing & stacking green waste, and entry level gardening tasks. Our clearance assistants are also considered trainee clearance operators – once established in your role, you will be trained to operate all power-garden tools and perform technical garden clearance work.
Our garden clearances follow an effective system; your ability to understand why we do things a certain way, and to align with existing practices, will make you a valued contributor and increase your opportunities for advancement.
Our teams work to a tight schedule; you must be able to show up on time every day of your roster with a clear head and a positive attitude.

We offer internal staff pathways to specialist roles (think Reticulation, landscape construction, garden maintenance), leadership roles (think crew leader, supervisor), and even business partnerships (think owning your own maintenance round or subcontracting.)
All our staff are tough enough for the conditions! The work is outdoors, often on steep terrain, overgrown, and includes heavy lifting. From our junior female staff to 50-something Crew Leaders, everyone works hard and will expect you to meet the standard! The good news is, we always have fresh cold water on hand, work a 6hr day (ideally), and have an extended lunch break to re-energise.
